Business Wire - Horizon Air Introduces New Long Weekend Discounts
SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 28, 1998–Air travelers can stretch their dollars when they stretch their weekend on Horizon Air.
Horizon is offering new Long Weekend Discount Fares for trips departing on Saturday and returning on Tuesday.
“When you travel on our off-peak days you’ll be rewarded with a special discount,” said Pat Zachwieja, vice president of marketing and planning.
Long Weekend Discount Fares are up to 40 percent lower than Horizon’s lowest regular 14 day advance purchase discount fares and can be purchased anytime before travel. Tickets must be purchased round trip with the outbound flight on a Saturday and return flight on a Tuesday. Seats are limited and tickets are non-refundable.
Long Weekend Discount Fares are available to or from all cities served by Horizon Air in the United States and Canada except as follows: Boise-Portland/San Jose/Seattle/Spokane, Sacramento-Boise/Kelowna/Portland/Vancouver/Victoria, Spokane-Portland/Sacramento/San Jose/Seattle, and to or from Sun Valley. The special fares also will not be available to or from Vancouver, B.C., in the summer and not available at all Nov. 27, 28, Dec. 22, 26, 29, 1998 and Jan. 2, 1999.
