An airline industry study has revealed that European airline passengers experienced fewer delays during 2002. The Association of European Airlines claims that only one in five European flights were delayed by more than 15 minutes, compared with one in four in 2001. The figures are the best annual performance for four years, however airlines cut back flights in 2002 thus easing congestion.
